   INTRO: At the very heart of winter, icy sounds reverberate
   across a suspended landscape; the glowing curtains of the
   Northern lights dazzle the stoic residents of the polar regions,
   as ions from storms on the sun blow through the earth's
   magnetosphere. It's an elemental lightshow from the beginning
   of time.
